Hello Valentina. I found your blog through the website of the Uni. Your pictures are super good. And I like your project. Is difficult to get to know people around you in London. I'll write more by email. Check my blog. Bye.
When I was a child I used to dream about awaking in an abandoned town and have free access to anyone’s home.
I grew up in a small Italian village; studying art was a way to reach out to wider world. A friend lend me his camera, the first I used it I knew I wanted to become a photographer.
After graduating at Bauer School of Photography, I moved to New York where I was a teaching assistant at International Center of Photography. Upon returning to Italy I headed the Photography Department at Falcone Design School and studied cinema at D.A.M.S. University of Literature and Philosophy. During this time I developed my personal projects and I worked for a variety of professional commissions, including Grazia Neri Photo Press Agency.
Three years ago I moved to London. My obsession has remained the same: to find a point of entry to another person’s life, to explore my fascination with the world.
My last project,”CLOSE: Ewen house” is about the encounter with my neighbours.
V, this is my favourite of this series. i love the placement of the two girls and the boy... and those chairs!
